Thunder is a 6 yr old male beagle with a handsome tri-colored coat. He was taken to an animal shelter by his family after the man of the house passed away. Thunder and his pal, Blue Goose, were his dogs, and it seems they were too much for the family to manage in the wake of his loss.
Thunder has a playful spirit and a heart full of affection. Like all beagles, he loves sniffing and enjoyed when volunteers at the shelter walked him. All ages of volunteer were cleared to walk him, as he only pulled hard enough to reach that smell just out of reach.
He enjoys being petted and is an affectionate guy. As a 6 yr old dog, he is a bit calmer than younger dogs, but as is true with most beagles, is playful and sweet. He is quite a catch! It seems he may have been an outside dog though, as he knows nothing of house training. His foster home will be helping to teach him, but when you bring him home, you’ll want to be prepared to help him learn how it works at your house.
