9 at-risk beagles are getting a second chance at life and they’re heading west to safety. They will arrive in Portland on June 10, 2026. ADOPTION APPLICATIONS being accepted now!
In partnership with Operation Frodo and fellow beagle rescues, Cascade Beagle Rescue will welcome nine deserving beagles from Omaha on June 10, 2026. These dogs have uncertain pasts, but together we can give them the future they deserve: safety, medical care, love, and forever homes.
Among the new arrivals are:
- Two puppies born March 19, 2026
- Their young mother
- A 2-year-old male
- A 1-year-old female
- 3-4 others (genders/ages to come soon)
Before these beagles can begin their new lives, they will need extensive care, including:
- Spay/neuter surgeries
- Vaccinations and rabies certificates
- Heartworm testing
- Transport and health documentation
- Crates, collars, leashes, bowls, toys, puppy pads, and other essential supplies
We expect the total cost of their rescue and care to exceed $3,000.
